ESP8266 WeMos D1 Mini WIFI REPEATER/RANGE EXTENDER

Using an WeMos D1 Mini as a cheap WIFI range extender

The WeMos D1 mini is very cheap about £3 - £5 depending on the quantity purchased.

This is the only component apart from a power source that is required.

There are 4 stages to get the WIFI repeater working.

1-Download the ESP8266 Flash Download tool for windows from the official website.

2-Download the ESP WIFI Repeater software.

3-Upload the ESP WIFI Software to the ESP8266 using the Flash Download Tool.

4-Setup the repeater using a mobile or other WIFI device.
